Too short choose 3 months in jail over 3 years of probation… Too Short failed to meet the requirements of his community service agreement… Sounds so simple… Probation must be a pain in the ass for Too Short… So he’s just going to get it all wrapped up with a 90 day bid…

Too Short  was previously arrested in 2009 for suspicion of DUI and other charges while in Las Vegas. In 2010 he was arrested and charged with three counts of misdemeanor battery after getting into a fight at an Idaho nightclub. Last year, he was cited on misdemeanor possession of a loaded handgun in a public place when he brought a loaded gun to a California airport.

How bad is TIDAL doing right now?  I would have to guess that things aren’t going well for the streaming service… They did have a nice introduction though with all of the artist walking across the stage signing on to become what people assumed the most powerfull streaming service to date…

Now comes a 50 million dollar lawsuit… According to TMZ Cash Money is suing Jay Z’s TIDAL for streaming the album, calling it “a desperate and illegal attempt to save their struggling streaming service”…

Here is where it gets good… According to Billboard… TIDAL claims Lil Wayne’s contract with Cash Money is not exclusive and that he signed over the rights to the album to the streaming service. Cash Money states that Wayne does not have the power to license his music to anyone in the lawsuit, quoting his contract.  Cash Money is also claiming damages, saying the release of FWA to “tepid reviews” could impact future efforts to market his music.

Earl Simmons… AKA DMX… now age 44… failed to pay roughly 440,000 in child support… That’s a lot of kids or a lifetime of not paying…  He’s now known more for jail stints rather than chart topping hits…

Past legal issues has prompted the former Fuggee singer Lauryn Hill to cancel a concert in the UK…

Hill in the past was sited for failing to pay her taxes on approximately $1.5 million earned between 2005 and 2007… which lead to time in a minimum security prison in Danbury, Conn. . Following her release, she spent next three months under home confinement and was under parole supervision for a year.

Hill took to Facebook… “I’ve been informed that I won’t be able to enter the U.K. for a period of time due to my past legal situation. For this reason I have to cancel my concert on July 15th,”…     “Know that I was looking forward to performing in London this summer, and that I appreciate all of my fans and supporters both in London, and throughout the U.K. I look forward to seeing you again as soon as I’m able to.

According to Rolling Stone… Dr. Dre’s The Chronic is going to be available for streaming on Apple Music when the service goes live tomorrow. It’s interesting to note that this is the first time this LP has been made available to any music streaming service, it wasn’t even put on Dre’s own Beats Music service which was launched in 2014 and later acquired by Apple.
