Lil Wayne’s tour bus was allegedly shot up by a guy who has very close ties to Wayne’s rival, Young Thug ..

Atlanta PD got an arrest warrant for the suspect, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, on May 21 … and he’s been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity.

We’re told by multiple sources in Atlanta that Winfrey has been Young Thug’s road manager — which is incredibly relevant since Thug’s been in a very public feud with Wayne for months.

Thug released a mixtape called “Tha Carter 6” — mocking Wayne’s long delayed album — but changed it to “Barter 6” when he was threatened with a lawsuit.

TMZ broke the story … Wayne’s bus got blasted back in April as he was leaving a club gig in Atlanta. Police say Winfrey was trying to gain status in the Bloods by “committing a high profile shooting of a rival rap artist.”

Winfrey’s mug shot is from a previous arrest for drug possession in Florida.

According to Billboard… Kanye West has settled lawsuit with former child soul star Ricky Spicer over the sample for “Bound 2”.

Spicer initially sued West, Roc-A-Fella Records, Universal Music Group and Island Def Jam Music Group in December 2013, claiming unauthorized use of his voice. Paperwork, dated March 6th, was filed to a New York Court on May 11th discontinuing the suit.

In 2013, Spicer stated that he had not received any compensation, despite the song’s success. He sought an injunction and damages for alleged violations of New York civil right of publicity law (section 51), unjust enrichment and common law copyright infringement.

On the song, Spicer’s altered voice can be heard throughout the chorus singing the lyrics “Bound, Bound/ Bound to fall in love.” LISTEN HERE>>>

Lauryn Hill will be presented with the prestigious Golden Note Award at ASCAP’s 28th annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards. The invitation-only event will take place on June 25 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.

Not long after laying low on his beef with the Young Money honcho, Thugger Thugger has decided to spark up some more beef with his latest comments.

“I’ma drop one more mixtape before my album. The album is called High Tunes. I’ma drop one more mixtape. I’ll probably name it Tha Carter V ’cause the original Carter V still ain’t came out yet, I don’t know what the f–k they doing, they slowcoaching. So I’ma put that muthafucka out for ’em. With his eclectic sound that jumps from hip-hop, to electronic, to RnB, and then back to a classic boom-bap gritty rap, Chicago rapper ProbCause is embarking on a national tour with rapper/comedian Lil Dicky this summer. The prolific MC will be joined by DJ/drummer Cofresi on all dates, including shows at SummerCamp Music Festival and Wakarusa Music Festival. “Cofresi is my drummer/producer and a huge part of what we are building.
