According to TMZ… Geraldo attacked Simmons for spreading hip-hop culture which he believes cuts them off from mainstream jobs.

Simmons isn’t losing any sleep, telling TMZ Wednesday in Hollywood … “After losing, he needs to just talk to get himself relevant.”

For Dr. Dre… it’s time to celebrate his successes… One of the greatest happens to be reaching 50… Although Dre is not retiring anytime soon… he is on the cover of AARP, the Magazine… which stands for the American Association of Retired Persons… … From his days with N.W.A. leading up to doing business with Suge Knight… I’m not sure Dre ever thought he might reach this milestone…  Dr. Dre came in on Forbes’ 2014 World’s Highest-Paid Musicians list by raking-in a ridiculous $620 million. The bulk of that can be attributed to the sale of Beats, which he co-founded, to Apple for $3 billion.

 

Amber Rose Inks Book Deal… ‘How To Be A Bad Bitch’

Simon & Schuster imprint Gallery Books announced Wednesday February 18th… that model Amber Rose will write How to Be a Bad Bitch.

According to Billboard, the book, scheduled for publication on Oct. 27, 2015, will share Amber’s secrets on how to be successful, covering love, beauty, fashion, finances and a career, as well as advice for confidence and self-acceptance.

In a statement, Rose says a “bad bitch” is a “self-respecting, strong female who has everything together. This consists of body, mind, finances and swagger; a woman who gets her by any means necessary.”

The 31-year-old recently made headlines for publicly fueding with reality star Khloe Kardashian.  The Twitter war began when Rose spoke to New York’s Power 105.1 about Kardashian’s family and Kylie Jenner’s alleged relationship with rapper Tyga.

Drake Breaks Spotify Records With Unexpected Album

According to Billboard, the music-streaming service said Tuesday (Feb. 17) that the rapper’s new album, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, set the record for most streams from an album in its debut week in the U.S. Songs from the album, released Friday, were streamed more than 17.3 million times in three days.

Drake’s 2013 album, Nothing Was the Same, previously had the record for most streams in a debut week with 15.8 million.

The new album also set a record for most streams in a single day for an album in the U.S. with 6.8 million streams on Saturday.

‘Happy’ Gets Pharrell New Book Deal For Kids…

According to Billboard…  The Grammy Award-winning performer has an agreement with Putnam Books for Young Readers for four picture books, starting with one inspired by his hit song.

Putnam announced Tuesday that the book, “Happy,” will be published Sept. 22 and will feature photographs of children from around the world “celebrating what it means to be happy.” It plans a first printing of 250,000 copies.
