According to Rolling Stone… Dr. Dre’s The Chronic is going to be available for streaming on Apple Music when the service goes live tomorrow. It’s interesting to note that this is the first time this LP has been made available to any music streaming service, it wasn’t even put on Dre’s own Beats Music service which was launched in 2014 and later acquired by Apple.

The 90’s… hands down… was the best time in the history of Hip Hop… Sorry if you missed it… Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia aided in the  introduction of a plethera  of unsigned artist… such as: Nas, Biggie, Wu-Tang, Big Pun… plus an unknown group led by… Jay-Z, Eminem, Fat Joe, and the Fugees through their radio show.

Stretch and Bobbito’s impact is still felt today… they will celebrate their 25th anniversary with a concert featuring DJ sets and guest artist appearances along with a film screening of the documentary Stretch and Bobbito which explores the social impact of what the Source Magazine voted “The Best Hip Hop Radio Show Of All-Time.”

According to Revolt TV… Bobby Shmurda appeared in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday morning (June 25) alongside Rowdy Rebel and the GS9 crew, where their case received a trail date of Oct. 5.

According to Billboard… Shmurda was reportedly offered an eight-year plea deal, which his lawyers refused. Fellow rapper Rowdy Rebel was offered a seven-year plea, which was refused by his lawyers as well. His family members and Epic executives (including label president Sylvia Rhone) were present at the hearing.

He is charged with multiple conspiracy counts, one count of reckless endangerment, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

According to the L.A. Times… Police said Combs, 45, used a kettle bell in the confrontation inside the Acosta Athletic Training Complex on campus sometime before 12:30 p.m. on Monday. A kettlebell is a round piece of weightlifting equipment with a handle, usually made of cast iron.

In a statement… Diddy’s spokeswoman indicated that any reports that Combs was the aggressor are inaccurate…

“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate. What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed,” the statement said.

According to the L.A. Times… Combs’ company, Revolt, identified the coach involved in the conflict as Sal Alosi, who gained notoriety in 2010 for tripping a Miami Dolphins player during special-teams play. He was suspended by the NFL for that incident and ultimately left the league and took a job at Bryant College, a small school in Rhode Island.

Combs initially was held for investigation of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery. No one was seriously injured, and Combs was released from custody Monday night, jail records show.

50 Cent announced singer and actor Rotimi as the newest member to G-Unit’s roster.  The New Jersey native stars in the second season of the Starz show Power, alongside 50, who also produces the hit program.

After the announcement, Rotimi dropped an updated version of his 2014 track “Lotto,” which now boasts 50 kicking off the opening verse.  Check it out…
